Messy Hair Books
I took an Interactive Multimedia Authoring course through McKenzie College, on computer, and received my diploma in May 2000. I tried to find a job in graphic arts so I could work at home, but was unable to. So I began drawing on computer.
Growing up in Salmon Beach, across the road from Chaleur Bay has turned me into a nature lover. I was fortunate to comb the beach, or walk for miles in the woods, as a child. Being a dreamer, a nature lover, has helped me create my children's stories and illustrations.
My drawings, I do on computer, have given me the opportunity to express myself through my art. I use everyday events and try to tell a story in each picture, and hope to bring pleasure to others.
I now have written and illustrated children's books. I have four English books and two French books, and am presently working on book five in English.
I've been selling my work at Moncton Farmer's Market (off Main Street) for two and a half years. From 11:30 am to 2:00 pm on Saturdays. I will continue to sell there.
